Meet our Founder

Megan King is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Change HP Consulting. She applies expert knowledge, industry background, and relentless energy to drive strategic growth.

She started her career as an engineer over thirteen years ago. Since then, Megan has gone on to custom-build and lead a Lean Six Sigma training program for a $2 billion company. Also, she has managed the Transition Services Agreement for an $891M divestiture.

She is both an analytical and strategic thinker. Her strong suit is sharing complex concepts through facilitation, coaching, and training. Leveraging her operations background and executive experience, she can connect with your team at all levels.

Today, Megan works with companies on strategy, change management, and process improvement initiatives. Likewise, she guides individuals on their improvement journeys.

Megan enjoys sharing knowledge with others. In 2019, she was both a speaker and a panelist at Minitab’s Insights Conference. Then, in 2021, she coached student startups in UNC Chapel Hill’s New Ventures Launch Executive MBA course.

Learning is one of her lifelong passions. For example, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering Studies from Purdue University. And her MBA in Strategy and Leadership is from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Besides her formal education, Megan has experience with Toyota, Federal-Mogul, Kraft Foods Group, Schaeffler Group USA, and The Hertz Corporation.

Not only is she an entrepreneur, but she is also a full-time stay-at-home mom. She and her husband both work and care for their young children. In her spare time, Megan enjoys adventures – hiking, camping, and traveling with her husband and children. Watching her son and daughter grow and learn is one of her greatest joys.
